Per our conversation in Friday’s post, you recall that this is my birthday month (adjusts crown). So guess what, you can look forward to seeing special layouts in this Recollections planner. I got this planner for $9 during the Michael’s 50% sale this week.
I choose a printable planner sticker set by Victoria Thatcher named “Rosé All Day”!!
P.S. I’ll also share with you these “diamond shaped top” pens that I’ve been cheating on my other planner pens with lately. I have seen advertisements about them retailing for $7 on social media, but guess who paid under $5 for them!!! Yours truly, yes indeed I found these in a cute little box in the stationery section at TJMAXX & Marshalls for $3.99!!
I used a printable sticker kit bought from http://www.beayoutifulplanning.com
Happy Thanksgiving to you all….
I’m still loving my new planner hobby, but what I’m not liking is the time frame I set out to create my layout. I’ve been setting time aside for Sunday afternoon and it’s not working. With me having to clean & prepare dinner I hate multitasking for that aspect. I feel rushed when doing my layout and anxiety takes its toll on time and I want my layout to be perfect or my vision of close to it. I know it’s just a planner but I love the weekly layout creations to be lively and represent me!!
With that being said, follow my new IG account dedicated to all things pretty and planner related. Follow me @planzilla_
So I normally post my planner layouts in a FB group I’m in for Happy Planner owners, so why should I neglect my very own blog the chance to display my creative side!!
Here is my spread “pre-pen” for this week. This leopard washi tape and hello gorgeous tape is by MAMBI and the red washi is from The Paper Studio, all bought from Hobby Lobby.
The brown girl stickers are from Victoria Thatcher’s website where she gives you the privilege of using her stickers for free (make sure you credit the woman’s work please).
Guess what day it is!!
Yes, you guessed it! Not just hump day…. WAY BACK WEDNESDAY!!
Welcome back to the 6th episode, today features a polish collection circa 2014. I actually did not hunt these girls down, I just happened to spot them on a random stroll down the beauty aisle at Kmart. The display caught my attention, I googled them but weren’t able to find out much just that they are textured finish.
I liked these because the colors weren’t the common colors that brands were releasing like the reds, oranges, pinks. I remember these being semi sheer on the first two coats, but the third coat covered it opaque.
Here’s Rimmel’s 2014 textured finish polish collection “Sweetie Crush”.
Were you able to nail these?
Stay tuned for next week’s episode 7 of Way Back Wednesday, thanks for reading!
