Carbon Coco Teeth Whitening Review

Hey peeps,

So a few months back this company reached out to me wanting to send me their teeth whitening kit to review. After briefly looking at some YouTube reviews & getting mixed results I decided try it. My son & I both tried it as a matter of fact, I’m only posting my results though! I found this product to be easy to use and it’s semi-messy depending on the precautions you take with the space you’re using this product on. The charcoal spreads quickly on your teeth once you get it on your teeth (don’t swallow this product, not even a little bit). After about 5 minutes I rinsed my mouth out and used the toothpaste for about 2 minutes.

(Pic credit to Coco Carbon website)

I used this product for 2 weeks, I must say that I do see a difference in the color of my teeth. I tend to eat a lot of dishes made with curry so it has the potential to stain my teeth. I would recommend this product, I don’t buy teeth whitening kits, I do buy toothpaste with it in it.

The toothbrush they send with it broke so I used one the dentist gave me.

If you haven’t tried a teeth whitening kit yet, I don’t think it would hurt to give it a try. Should this company reach out to you to try this product, I think it’s worth the test. It’s easy to use, a fast process and portable!! You can check out Coco Carbon products HERE!! SMILE!!

Clairol Root Touch Up via Influenster review

*sample release*

I can remember the day I spied the enemy within my hairline, that day cookies and cream became my favorite ice cream flavor lol. Nah, but seriously, what does getting grey hair really mean tho? It definitely doesn’t mean you’re about to die, it just means you’re about to start buying some hair dye lol!!

I wanna say it has been within the last 5 years that I have been dyeing the front of my hairline, it is the only place that’s going grey for now. When I dye my hair I normally use the Dark & Lovely “natural black” color which lasts me about 6 weeks.

When Influenster invited me to review the Clairol Root Touch Up hair product I was intrigued and up for the challenge. This product is pretty much a “quick fix” hair product and I recommend this for people who are on-the-go a lot because it’s an easy carry around. It looks like an eyeshadow pallet honestly.

If you don’t want to be bothered with the messy dye all over your hands, clothes or sink then this is your girl…. it’s so user friendly you can do it with your eyes closed.

Here are my results

Before

After

It applies just like putting on eyeshadow, the formula is a powder substance and covers the grey instantly!! The cons to this is that it’s not long lasting and you should expect transfer while putting on shirts over your head as well as transfer to your pillow.

I will definitely use this in between dyeing sessions!!

Have you started to grey in your hairline? If so, what do you use as a Root Touch Up?

Happy Valentine’s Day

Hello February Valentines Look

So here we are, beginning another month for 2018 already; chapter 2 of 12! I hope January was good to you. I can’t say that it was to me but that’s something I will divulge maybe later when my spirits are up to it.

I got a chance to play in makeup today, something I plan to do more often to tackle all these latest trends I’ve been spying on IG makeup pages. I actually made time to take pics of my handiwork lol.

So February is the month for the lover in you for Valentine’s Day so I wanted to create a look this year. I’ll probably be doing a few V-Day looks, I kinda dig this traditional sweetheart day!!
