Kiss Nail Polish from Dollar Tree

“I already have that color I don’t need it”-said no woman ever (especially not me) lol. When these polishes first released, I spotted them in Kmart. They were priced for more than $2 and I just wasn’t wow’d enough to swipe.

It was at Dollar Tree when I lost my memory lol. I saw these for a dollar and it made me holla!!

There isn’t anything unique about the colors but the formula is amazing, these can easily be one coaters.
Check out the colors I bought.

Aforementioned about the formula, it is excellent and dries to a glossy finish, I didn’t swatch these with a top coat. These could easily be one coaters. I did have a slight application problem with Fantasia & Sweet Angel being a little on the thick side, but waiting in between layers always helps–along with polish thinner.

Now I’m not one to tell you what to do buuuuuut go get you a few lol!

My Little Watermarble

Watermarble is my favorite sport!!

For this mani I used 3 polishes from the latest collaboration release from China Glaze. This collection features 12 polishes all dedicated to my childhood oops I meant My Little Pony. Yes I’m proud to say my childhood, I had all the My Little Pony toys my mom allowed herself to be coerced into buying lol. Sorry mom, I didn’t keep my promise of never wanting any other toy after that lol.

The colors I used below: L to R: Too Busy Being Awesome, Cute Mark The Spot, Sweet As Pinkie Pie.

These wm so beautifully I had absolutely no problems

If you haven’t purchased any of these polishes, you’re missing out a good mani and some good memories.

There’s also 2 LE sets that you can purchase on eBay, Sally’s and Ulta Beauty.

Have you purchased any polish from this collection? Which one(s)?

Sally Hansen X Crayola Collab swatches

So I’m finally making some time to swatch the newly released @sally_hansen X @crayola collab, I’m not too late!!  These are available for purchase at Walgreens & Kmart (where I got mine). They retail for $4.99.

There’s nothing unique about the colors but the formula is a 2-coater; one coater if you put a lot on the brush.

There are 12 shades in this collection, I purchased only 4 (somebody better be proud of me)!!

Give nostalgia a round of applause!!

Lay Flat For Your Close Up

You know we can get so creative trying to capture that perfect shot right! I forget who it was, but I even saw someone on IG using their cat as a background fixture to do a makeup flat lay pic lol.

I won’t go that route but I will use these use images from this multi image paper pads I purchased from Michael’s & Hobby Lobby. I was introduced to this by a YouTuber Bianca Andress, she will have you in these stores looking cray cray for the cute items she finds. Needless to say she had me in up them stores. She found hers in Micheal’s but I found some really cute paper pad themes in Hobby Lobby also, I caught them on a 50% off sale (which is still he current sale–I was in there today 😂🤣).

Micheal’s $14.99

All the rest are from Hobby Lobby $19.99 (50% off)

I tell you I’m a sucker for anything with the patterns of lips, hearts, hearts w/ stripes, lipsticks or leopard print. I think I’ll be using these paper pads for a while, there’s a glitter themed pad I want to go back to get. There’s just too many pages for me to show you every image you’ll get, so that means I’m sending you into them stores to check these out in person. I can’t seem to pick which store has the better themes. If you go, let me know!!

Here’s a page I used the other day for a polish flat lay pic.

What are some of your favorite patterns? What do you use for your flat lay pics?

Double Pog Dare You

Let’s Be Frank

If you’ve been following my blog you would know that I am a huge fan on bright colors in general, polish being a big part of that for me. When it comes out to wearing bright polish, these colors would be my fly to!!

However, I must disclose that I had a few issues with this formula (not saying that the ones you buy will result the same). The formula for the batch I got was kind of thick, stringy & gloopy. I had no issue with 2 of them which was Color Me Rad & Double Pog Dare You. I did manage to create a water marble design using them.

As aforementioned, these will release online next Friday! If you’re lucky enough to go to Polish Con Ny today, let me know which ones you picked up!!

All The Bright Moves collection by KBShimmer

*press release*

“What we gonna do now is go back…. allll the way back”…….

I love this time of the year when makeup and polish makers bring out the loud & bright colors, it brings instant happiness into my life!!
So tell me, where you anything like me during my childhood? Did you spend your Saturday mornings watching Zach and Kelly? Did the Fresh Prince theme song play in your head (that you knew word for word) while you begged for the latest Lisa Frank stickers? Were Caboodles and Trapper Keepers all the rage among your friends? Did you load your arms with jelly bracelets and died without your Aqua Net? Was your scrunchie collection the envy of your friends? If you answered yes, then you might be a child of the late 80’s and early 90’s, the inspiration for KBShimmer’s latest nail polish collection, All The Bright Moves. Based on that time of neon colors, stickers, and big hair, let these 6 neon shades take you back to a time where fashion was so bright, you had to wear shades.

The All The Bright Moves collection consists of 6, juicy shades that are almost crelly like in formula. These shockingly bright shades are inspired by the late 80’s and early 90’s of my childhood. Each covers well in 2 coats without a white base, but those with longer nails may prefer 3 coats.

All The Bright Moves (NEONS!!): Launch 04/29/17 at Polish Con NY – Online 05/05/17

You have time to nail those moves for this collection, get bright or get left!!
