Hi everyone, I’ve been a little MIA this week, but I’ll just say this “ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL” until I graduate.
Today I am wearing 3 polishes on my nails. On my index finger I’m wearing China Glaze’s “Sweet Hook”, on my middle and ring fingers I’m wearing Sinful Colors Crystal Crush polish called “Putple Gleam” and on my pinky I’m wearing a polish by Sugar Cosmetics which I found in Kohl’s for $6 called “Sprinkles On Top”.
If you follow me on IG (Nailmattic), you would have seen the video I posted of the other indie looking polishes this brand carries. Most of them are dupes to ILLAMASQUA & Nails, Inc polishes.
On my nails today is a polish from the China Glaze Horizon collection. The one that caught my eye the most is “Party Fowl”. I layered this over a fuschia polish by Spoiled. This is only one layer of Party Fowl.
Here’s a mani I wore yesterday. The last pic is with a topcoat, I like it best with a topcoat. This color in person is pink/coral although the pic makes it look reddish eh.
Hello all, I’ve been so lazy all day, I finally said let me do something nailstructive :). I hope you all have heard about or have seen, the latest nail trend by now brought to us by China Glaze Tranzitions. Today I did a quick swatch of “Split Perso-Nail-Ity”.
It’s a Rose color polish which transitions by top coat into a burgundy color. I think it’s pretty neat. However, the only drawback to this is that you cannot use any top coat if you like the color by itself, not even a clear polish (I tested it out). I also bought “Modify Me”. I purchased by on transdesign.com.
My first time using L.A. Colors formula, I have seen this brand several times in Dollar stores and was reluctant to buy it because of its msrp of $1. I’ve had people tell me that it obtains good quality but u know what they say “you get what you pay for”. I’m not going to say this formula was the worst but it wasn’t the best either.
The finish you see in the pic of just the orange polish (called Shock) is four coats of lacquer, I don’t believe I’ve put that much on each nail ever…. Even when I put the 4 coats, it still remained dull. I couldn’t deal with the bland look so I decided to lay a glittery blanket over it, Snow Globe by China Glaze is where I found my solace…. Well better lust next time…..
