Yes, please and thank you!!
I finally got my hands on @colourpopcosmetics Yes, Please! palette since restock last week. I feel like I’m sounding like a looped video on Snapchat when I say that these colors are my every day go to colors–it bears repeating tho lol. You’ll see from the swatches below how pigmented these colors are. So now this is going to be my second go-to palette for the everyday colors I like to wear to work.
If you own any of CP’s super shock shadows you will have already witnessed how smooth they are. My first go to palette is Juvia’s Place Nubian 1 palette. These colors are woc friendly IMO.
Did you pick up this collection gem?
Thanks for reading 💋
Like for real y’all I am so excited for this palette, I had my bf purchase for me because I was super busy at work that day, he came thru #squadgoals!! I love a chic roses themed makeup packaging.
Check out the pics of the mattes, metallics & 1 satin finish colors…..
Before I go, let me just tell about this satin finish above– so smooth and so clean clean (outkast voice).
Did you purchase this palette? What’s you two cents money?
People…. I know I’m guilty as charged if you’ve labeled me M.I.A! I know I’ve taken the back seat on posting for a while but rest assured that I’m still shopping!! No need to fret because I’m not done with my blogging yet!!
Check out some of my latest purchases
Colourpop’s latest release “Now Playing” collection called “To and From” (which is still available). Isn’t the packaging so fly!!
Colourpop X Hello Kitty collab (still available on their site).
Profusion Cosmetics highlighter palette found at Burlington Coat Factory for $4.99.
Juvia’s Place (black owned business). “Masquerade Pallet” mini
AYA Cosmetics (black owned business) eyeshadows “so pigmented” stay peeled for swatches.
Lastly, a new journal I found at Burlington Coat factory for $3.99. I especially love that the lipsticks image are on all lined pages.
I’m pretty much decked out in the hauls department for now, but there’s always a chance of finding deals with the upcoming “Black Friday” extravaganza….. What’s on your wish list (capital one guy voice lol).
Hi beauties, happy humping to you all today lol.
Today’s look is being presented to you by a matte lippie from Femme Couture, sold at Sally’s Beauty Supply and Colourpop (yes again). I wanted to start getting into some fall beauty looks so I decided to use an eyeshadow I recently purchased from Colourpop. This is a dark purplish-burgundy matte eyeshadow called “Central Perk“. It retails for $5. I love Colourpop eyeshadows I’m here for each and every one of its creamy feeling.
This lippie I got when they had a B2G1F deal. This is a nude matte lippie called Classic Caramel, even though you can’t tell but I am also wearing a NK brown lip liner.
I don’t normally follow beauty rules of wearing seasonal colors, but if you’re going to do it; do it your way right!!
What are your favorite fall colors?
Thanks for reading and let’s stay connected….
Happy Friday beauties, even though it has only been a 4 day work week I’m still glad it’s Friday!
Today I have to show a cutesy packaged eyeshadow palette by Profusion. This I assume is made to mimic the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette, however this doesn’t smell as chocolatey as the Too Faced one. This palette differs in price, style and color, but for those that don’t want to pay that $25-35 price (depending on where you get it) this is a good runner up.
I am wearing a copper colored eyeshadow from this palette today and the pigment seems opaque and doesn’t have a cheap feel to it. I found this is Kmart for $4.99, they’re sold in 3 colors which they possess different colors in them. I got the pink one of course cause you already know!!
Hey beauties, happy hump day!! I know I’m off to a slow start with posting this week but I manage to jump start my mojo today. The Mr has landed a new and exciting job which he started on Monday so we’ve been busy managing our time, we now work the same hours M-F (yippee)!!
So let me show you all this little goody box I purchased from Ulta on Monday. I don’t own any Too Faced products, this caught my eye as it was displayed right by the door (they know what they’re up to lol). It is $35 plus you get a free gift.
You can see from the pics the eyeshadows are namedcat-affiliated. I love the leopard print brush and the color scheme of the eyeshadows. As a gift you get a Better Than Sex mascara, another eye primer cream and a black eye pencil.
Do you own this product? If so, how do you rate it?
Good morning and happy Friday :))
So for those of you who might have broken their eyeshadow in pieces, you probably just threw it away like I do. I should say like I used to… that is until I googled how to fix broken eyeshadow. It is a very simple process and cool I’ll add AND with the use of simple household items. During my traveling I realized that I had broken one of my favorite eyeshadows by Milani. I also received as a gift an eyeshadow by Jordana which arrived broken.
So the simple process is you take your broken up eyeshadow, pour a little bit of rubbing alcohol in it (the higher the percentage the better the chance it is to harden faster). Stir in the alcohol with a orange stick or similar to a creamy substance of the eyeshadow. Then you tap the eyeshadow container onto a hard surface a couple of times just to level it out, leave it out overnight so it can harden back to its original form.
I chose to put mine in the refrigerator overnight. The next day when it has hardened, you need to press it out slightly with a coin or a piece of paper so that your hands don’t get all messy; you should be able to use it after that.
Some say that this process changes the appearance of the eyeshadow, but I’ve used it and nothing changed.
